The Small Animal Imaging Core (SAIC) is a core research facility located on The University of Iowa’s Carver College of Medicine campus and within the Iowa Institute of Biomedical Imaging. Its mission is to provide a comprehensive service for the non-invasive, non-destructive imaging of live organisms, biological specimens, materials, and historical artifacts.
The facility has experience with facilitating diverse research projects initiated by investigators from academia and industry. Recent clients include The University of Iowa, Iowa State University, Stanford University, Wake Forest University Health Sciences, Somtheranostics, Inc., and Perspective Therapeutics, Inc.
