Biodistribution Support

The SAIC offers imaging support services. A wizard 2480^® gamma counter with a 1000 sample capacity is available.  It contains a menu of over 50 radionuclides including ^99mTc, ⁶⁷Ga, ²⁰³Pb, ¹⁸F, ⁶⁴Cu, ⁸⁹Zr, and ⁶⁸Ga.   An Epredia cryostat is available for the sectioning of radioactive tissues.  Finally, a QScint iQID camera and histology infrastructure are available for the autoradiography and histological imaging of sequential tissue sections at the micron level.
